Welcome to SD Society of Hematopathology!

Dear Colleagues and Friends:

The 2017 SDSH Annual Symposium will be held on Saturday November 4, 2017, from 8 am to 5 pm at the beautiful Sanford Consortium on UCSD campus. This one-day event will address the core competencies defined by the ACCME and grant upto 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM for the fulfillment of CME requirements to all who attend. It is sponsored by the UCSD Department of Pathology and San Diego Society of Hematopathology (SDSH).

There will be a keynote lecture given by Dr. Kathryn Foucar, an internationally renowned hematopathologist from University of New Mexico. Several outstanding hematopathologists from San Diego and California will also present interesting topics on hematopathology practice. Further details can be found here.

At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be able to describe recent advances on the diagnosis of hematolymphoid malignancies, and be familiar with new molecular tools for the hematopathology practice.

With the warmest regards!

Don Xu, MD, PhD, FASCP
President, SDSH
